Description
American Traveler is hiring a Telemetry RN for a night shift position requiring 2 years of Tele/Med Surg experience and a KY or compact RN license.
Details
- Work in the Telemetry unit of a hospital environment
- Night shift schedule (3x12 hours, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
- Floating required within the hospital or to a nearby affiliate hospital
Requirements
- Active RN license (KY State or Compact) required
- Current certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Minimum 2 years of Telemetry/Med Surg experience required
- Skilled in cardiac monitoring and emergency response
- Skilled in interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
- At least 1 professional reference required for consideration
Additional Information
- Provide cardiac monitoring and emergency response care to telemetry patients
- Interpret and manage cardiac dysrhythmias as part of daily patient care
- Local candidates within 100 miles are not accepted for this position
- Required to work 3 out of 5 winter holidays
- Returning staff must have been away from all affiliated facilities for at least 6 months before returning as a traveler
- RTO must be disclosed at time of consideration, as requests submitted afterward will not be approved
