Description
American Traveler is hiring a Night Shift MRI Technologist with 3+ years experience and ARRT (R)(CT) certification for a Level 3 Trauma Hospital setting.
Details
- Inpatient and outpatient work setting performing CT scans on IP, ER, and OP patients
- Level 3 Trauma Hospital with 237 beds and 59 ED treatment areas with a substantial level of stroke alerts
- 4 rooms with average caseload of 12-24 patients per day
- Patient population ranges from neonates to geriatrics
- Utilizes Siemens and Philips CT scanners, Epic EMR, and Fuji PACS
- Night shift, 4x10 hours, Monday-Thursday, 7:30 PM to 6:00 AM
- Every other weekend required unless otherwise specified
- May float within facility/scope of practice as needed
- Up to 4 on-call days (24-hour periods) may be assigned with 2-week prior notice
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience required
- First-time travelers accepted
- BLS and ARRT (R)(CT) certifications required
- Community hospital experience required
- Epic charting system experience required
- Must be able to independently start peripheral IVs
- Experience with contrast media preparation and administration
- Must be able to consent patients
- License required if applicable
Additional Information
- Perform CT scans following facility protocols and policies on inpatient, ER, and outpatient patients
- Collaborate with a team of technologists, nurses, doctors, and transporters to maintain a positive work environment
- Gray scrub color required
- Maximum RTO of 7 days per contract, must be finalized at time of submission
- Holiday coverage required per facility policy based on number of major holidays falling within assignment period
- Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve/New Year's Day
- Local candidates accepted at the same rate
