Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a PACU position requiring recent post-anesthesia experience and NIHSS certification.
Details
- Work in the PACU (Post Anesthesia Care Unit) on the 3rd floor
- 10-hour day shifts, 4 shifts per week
- Schedule runs Monday through Friday, 8:00am-6:30pm
- No on-call responsibilities
Requirements
- Active RN license (GA state or Compact) currently in hand
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS (all AHA)
- Minimum of 2 years of recent PACU experience required
Additional Information
- Provide post-anesthesia nursing care to patients recovering from surgical procedures
- Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible for consideration
- Holiday coverage required: must work 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) plus 1 minor holiday (Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve)
- Former permanent staff returning as non-local travelers must have a 2-year break in service
- RTO must be requested upfront prior to accepting an offer and cannot be requested after
