Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Acuity Adaptable ICU position requiring at least 2 years of critical care experience and a WI or compact RN license.

Details

• Work in the Critical Care Unit of a hospital environment on an Acuity Adaptable Unit
• Care for a mix of ICU, IMC, and Med/Surg patients
• Night shift schedule from 19:00-07:30
• Required to work every other weekend and every other holiday
• Floating required within skill set or to sites within 40 miles as needed
• 13-week assignment length

Requirements

• Active WI or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), both must be AHA
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience required
• Must be willing and able to care for ICU, IMC, and Med/Surg patients
• No artificial or acrylic nails permitted; natural nails must be kept short (under 1/4 inch)
• Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start
• Current license and primary source verification required within 30 days prior to start

Additional Information

• Provide critical care nursing services across ICU, IMC, and Med/Surg patient populations
• Radius rule applies which may affect pay rate eligibility for local candidates
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
