Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg position on an Inpatient Oncology Unit, requiring GA or compact RN license and NIHSS certification.

Details

Work in the Inpatient Oncology Unit of a hospital setting
12-hour day shifts scheduled from 7A-7P
3 shifts per week for a 13-week assignment
No on-call responsibilities

Requirements

Active RN license (GA or Compact) currently in hand
Current certifications: BLS and ACLS (AHA) and NIHSS
Minimum of 2 years of recent experience within the oncology specialty required

Additional Information

Provide medical/surgical nursing care to inpatient oncology patients
Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be considered for this position
Returning perm staff who wish to travel at this facility must have a 2-year break in service
Holiday coverage required: must work 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve)
Requested time off must be submitted upfront prior to offer and cannot be requested afterward
