Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN for a 13-week travel assignment requiring recent specialty experience and holiday coverage
Details
- Work in the Intensive Care Unit of a hospital environment
- General medical-surgical ICU patient population
- 12-hour day shifts with schedule varying between 7AM-7:30PM
- 3 shifts per week for a total of 36 guaranteed hours weekly
- 13-week contract length
- No on-call responsibilities
- Uses Cerner EMR system
Requirements
- Active RN license (GA or Compact) currently in hand
- Current certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) through AHA
- CCRN and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of recent ICU experience within specialty required
Additional Information
- Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be considered for this position
- Returning perm staff must have a 2-year break before returning as a non-local traveler
- Required to work 2 of the 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve)
- RTO must be requested upfront prior to offer and cannot be requested afterward
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
