Description
American Traveler is hiring a Rehab RN for a night shift travel position requiring 1+ years of recent experience and a New Mexico or compact RN license.
Details
- Work in the Med/Surg and Rehab units of a hospital setting
- Care for a rehab patient population with a 1:5 patient ratio
- Night shift schedule from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
- Floating required
- 13-week assignment length
- Uses MedHost EMR
Requirements
- Active RN license (New Mexico or Compact) required
- Current BLS certification required
- ACLS and PALS certifications preferred
- 1+ years of recent Rehab RN experience required
- Fingerprinting required for all New Mexico travelers
- Active driver's license required for consideration
- US Social Security Number required for consideration (Canadian SIN not accepted)
- No certifications expiring within the first 30 days of assignment start
- No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
Additional Information
- Evaluate, plan, implement, and document nursing care for assigned rehab patients
- Assist physicians during examinations and procedures
- Perform patient tests and administer medications within RN scope of practice
- Promote patient independence through care goal setting and patient/family education
- Scrubs of any color are acceptable
- Must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be considered (no local travelers)
- RTO requests must be less than 1 week
- Not eligible if previously employed as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years
