Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring 2 years of ED experience and prior travel contract history.

Details

• Emergency Department-Trauma unit setting
• Night shift schedule from 19:00-07:30
• Every other weekend and every other holiday rotation with regular staff
• 13-week assignment
• Cares for critical care, psychiatric, and pediatric patient populations
• May float onsite within skill set or to sites within 40 miles as needed
• Uses Epic EMR

Requirements

• Active WI or compact RN license
• Current BLS, PALS, and ACLS certifications (must be AHA)
• Minimum 2 years of ED experience required
• At least 2 prior travel contracts required
• TNCC certification preferred
• NIH Stroke Scale certification preferred
• Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start
• Strong clinical judgment and documentation skills for critical care patients
• Strong team collaboration and clear communication skills

Additional Information

• Provides direct care to critical care, psychiatric, and pediatric ED patients
• Escalates concerns appropriately and seeks support to ensure patient safety
• Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
