Description

American Traveler is hiring a Maternal Fetal Ultrasound Technologist with 1+ year of high-risk OB experience and ARDMS OB/GYN certification for a 13-week contract.

Details

• Work in the Maternal Fetal Medicine/High Risk OB Ultrasound unit
• Day shift schedule, 4x10 hours, Monday-Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• No weekend, holiday, or call requirements
• No floating required for this position
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• Uses GE ultrasound equipment and PACS system

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience required
• Maternal Fetal and OB experience required
• High-risk OB experience required
• Current BLS and ARDMS OB/GYN certification required
• NT certification preferred
• Prior travel assignment experience required
• Compact license must be in hand at time of submission, if applicable
• Proficiency in fetal anatomical survey, fetal echo, amniotic fluid index, nuchal translucency screening, and Doppler studies
• Experience with 1st, 2nd, and 3rd trimester scanning
• Experience with transvaginal and vaginal ultrasound
• Amniocentesis procedure experience preferred
• Skilled in isolation precautions and PPE protocols

Additional Information

• Perform comprehensive maternal fetal ultrasound exams including fetal anatomy, amniotic fluid assessment, and Doppler studies
• Conduct high-risk obstetric imaging for conditions such as multiple pregnancy and placenta previa
• Assignment includes 2-4 weeks of unit orientation
• Does not accept first-time travelers
• Candidates within a 50-mile radius of the facility are not eligible for this position
• Former permanent staff at other Providence facilities (non-Swedish) are eligible for a travel contract after a 3-month separation period
• All Swedish facilities honor active compact licenses
• Two supervisory references covering 1 year of experience within the last 3 years are required
• Requires response regarding any prior work history at a Providence facility as permanent staff, traveler, or registry/per-diem
