Description
American Traveler is hiring an Occupational or Physical Therapist for an Outpatient Hand Therapy position, requiring at least 1 year of outpatient hand therapy experience.
Details
- Outpatient rehabilitation clinic setting specializing in hand therapy
- OT Outpatient unit within a hand clinic work setting
- Day shift schedule with options for 4x10-hour shifts (7:30 AM-6:00 PM) or 5x8-hour shifts (8:00 AM-4:30 PM)
- No floating required within this unit, though candidates may float to an affiliate hospital nearby per facility policy
- Epic EMR experience required
Requirements
- Certified Hand Therapist credential preferred
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in outpatient hand therapy required
- New graduates will not be considered
- Active OR state license required at time of submission (license required if applicable)
- BLS certification through AHA required (traditional AHA only, RQI not accepted)
- Epic charting system experience required
- COVID vaccination proof required with no exemptions accepted
- Two manager or supervisor references from within the last 24 months required
- Comprehensive background check required with no tolerance for background or license issues
Additional Information
- First-time travelers will be considered for this position
- Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate with no mile radius restriction
- Requested time off must be submitted upfront and cannot exceed 2 weeks
- Former OHSU employees or previous travelers must be separated for 6 or more months before returning as a traveler
- Refusal to float to an affiliate hospital as requested may result in contract cancellation
- Candidates must complete pre-start training modules, which vary based on profession
