Description
American Traveler is hiring an Operating Room RN with MA licensure and strong ortho and cataract surgery experience for a multi-site hospital assignment.
Details
- Work across two operating room sites: Danvers Surgical Center (4 ORs) and Beverly Hospital (10 OR suites)
- Schedule includes 3 days per week at Danvers (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM) and 2 rotating days/evenings per week at Beverly Hospital (latest shift 1:00 PM - 9:30 PM)
- 40 hours per week over a 13-week assignment
- Surgical services include General, GYN, Orthopedics (total joints), GU, ENT, Vascular, Robotics, and Spine
- Uses Epic EMR
- May be required to float to Addison Gilbert Hospital if needed
- On-call responsibilities at Beverly Hospital may include 2-3 call shifts per schedule period, either 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM on weeknights or 12-hour weekend shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
- Call response time is 30 minutes
Requirements
- Active MA RN license required
- BLS certification (AHA) required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Strong experience in orthopedic and cataract surgery required
- Must be able to scrub DaVinci Robotics cases and orthopedic procedures
- Spine surgery experience is a plus
- Flu vaccine required prior to start with no personal or religious exemptions accepted
- COVID vaccine plus booster and flu vaccine required, with medical exemptions allowed
- Candidates must not have worked in a permanent, per diem, or travel capacity at any Beth Israel Lahey Health facility within the past six months

- Local candidates accepted at a reduced rate
- Candidates must reside within 50 miles for the standard rate
- Perform scrub duties for a variety of surgical specialties including general, GYN, orthopedics, GU, ENT, vascular, robotics, and spine procedures
