Description
American Traveler is hiring an X-Ray Technologist with 2+ years experience and current ARRT (R) certification for an acute care setting requiring CA Fluoro permit and CA rad license (license required if applicable).
Details
- X-ray procedures on all hospital floors, departments, and in Surgery
- Acute care hospital setting
- Uses GE, Gen Rad, R&F, Carestream portables, OEC C-Arms, and O-Arm equipment
- Cerner EMR
- 10-hour day shifts with varied start times of 0630, 0700, or 0730
- No required floating to other modalities
- Required call: 3 days per month, 1800-0700 on weeknights and 24/7 on weekends, with a 30-minute response time
- Clinicians receive at least 30 days notice of call schedule
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience required
- ARRT (R) certification required
- BLS certification required
- CA Fluoro permit and CA state radiologic license required
- License required if applicable
- Experience with GE, Gen Rad, R&F, Carestream portables, OEC C-Arms, and O-Arm equipment preferred
- Cerner EMR experience preferred
- Copy of driver's license required at time of consideration to validate legal name matches government-issued ID
Additional Information
- Perform X-ray imaging across all hospital floors, departments, and in Surgery
- Facility can cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment (3 shifts for shorter assignments)
- Agency will supply a Rad Badge
- Parking is limited; travelers must park offsite and use a shuttle service to and from the facility, or arrange alternate transportation outside of shuttle hours
- Candidates who have been directly employed (full-time, part-time, or PRN) by any CommonSpirit-affiliated facility, including CHI and/or Dignity, within the past year will not be considered; PRN candidates employed through outside staffing firms will be considered
