Description

American Traveler is hiring a Pediatric Critical Care Float Pool RN for a night shift position requiring both Missouri (or compact) and Kansas RN licenses.

Details

• Pediatric Critical Care Float Pool position within a children's hospital setting
• Night shift schedule with 3x12 hour shifts, 7p-7a
• Floating required between the main campus and a sister hospital located approximately 12 miles away in Overland Park, KS
• FTE of .9
• Smoke-free and nicotine-free campus

Requirements

• Active RN license required at time of consideration; both a Missouri (or compact) license and a Kansas license are required
• Candidates may begin with a Kansas license pending if applying for the main campus, provided documentation of application is available
• Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required; RQI certifications are not accepted
• Must pass a medication/dosage competency test during the first week with a 100% score, up to three attempts allowed
• Two professional references from a supervisor-level or higher required, completed within the last 12 months
• Date of birth and Social Security number required for consideration

• Provide critical care nursing support across pediatric units as part of a float pool team
• Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate
