Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Oncology RN for a night shift position requiring 2 years of Med/Surg/Tele experience and a TN or compact RN license.

Details

• Work in the Medical Surgical Oncology unit of a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule (4x12 hours), 18:30-7:00
• 36/36, 36/48, or 48/48 schedules available
• Required to work every other weekend
• No on-call responsibilities
• Floating to other units required as needed
• Travelers do not administer chemotherapy
• Epic charting system experience preferred

Requirements

• Active TN or compact RN license required
• AHA BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Med/Surg/Tele experience required
• Previous charge nurse experience preferred
• BSN required for international travelers
• License must be in-hand at time of consideration

Additional Information

• First time travelers accepted
• Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility, no local candidates accepted
• General orientation begins on Sundays with online CBL modules
• Contract RN team members are expected to participate in nursing student support and clinical education alongside patient care duties
• Candidates must be willing to complete a drug test within 12-14 calendar days prior to start and be available for a second test if needed
• Facial hair must be trimmed or removed to meet CDC fit testing guidelines
• RTO must be included with submission for consideration
