Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN - Med/Surg for a night shift Charge Nurse role requiring NH or Compact RN licensure and prior charge experience.

Details

• Med/Surg unit within a hospital setting
• Patient ratio of up to 6:1
• Supported by 2 LNAs, a Nurse Lead, and a House Supervisor
• Uses Epic EMR
• 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend required
• Holiday coverage required if needed
• No on-call requirements
• Charge nurse responsibilities required

Requirements

• Active RN license (New Hampshire or Compact)
• Current BLS and ACLS certification (AHA)
• Minimum 3 years of current Med/Surg experience required
• Charge nurse experience required
• Epic EMR experience highly preferred
• Current Medical Surgical skills checklist required (within 1 year)
• One supervisory-signed reference required (within past 2 years of employment)

Additional Information

• Integrate collaborative care planning for individual patients and implement nursing standards of care
• Local candidates are not eligible for this position
• Must have a personal vehicle for this assignment
• No more than 5 days of requested time off will be accepted, and must be submitted with candidate profile prior to offer
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred but not required
