Description
American Traveler is hiring a Travel RN for an Emergency Department night shift position requiring IN or compact RN licensure and 1 year of ER experience.
Details
- Hospital-based Emergency Department setting with 30 beds
- Patient ratio of 1:4
- Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- No on-call requirements
- Floating to other units required
- Uses Cerner EMR
- 13-week assignment duration
Requirements
- Active RN license (IN or compact) required
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS or ENPC, and NIHSS
- Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Department experience required
- Cerner EMR experience preferred
- Current driver's license required for consideration
- No certifications expiring within first 30 days of assignment start
- No employment gaps of 90+ days within the past 12 months
Additional Information
- Provide direct patient care as an ER Nurse in a high-volume emergency setting
- Navy scrub color required
- Maximum RTO request of 1 week during assignment
- No RTO blackout dates or required holiday coverage specified
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility as local candidates are not accepted
- Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at this health system within the past 2 years will not be considered
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
