Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring at least 2 years of L&D experience and Epic EMR proficiency.

Details

• Hospital-based Labor & Delivery unit with midwife-led, low-intervention birth care approach
• Cares for patients ranging from infancy through adulthood
• Night shift schedule, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend and holiday rotation required
• On-call requirements apply
• Uses Epic EMR system

Requirements

• Active NH RN license or Compact license required
• Current BLS certification (AHA) required
• Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required
• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience required
• Postpartum and Mother/Baby care experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• AWHONN certification within the past 3 years preferred
• Must have personal vehicle for transportation

• Provide individualized nursing care across the lifespan in accordance with established standards of care and practice
• Support natural birth experiences while offering access to a broad range of medical resources when needed
• Does not consider candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility
• No block scheduling or schedule accommodations will be considered for this assignment
• 48-hour shifts are not available for this position
• Any requested time off must be submitted and verified at the time of profile submission; no more than 5 days of RTO will be accepted
• All scheduling requests must be finalized prior to submission, as facility will not approve changes after offer or during interview
• Not suitable for candidates seeking to work this assignment alongside another permanent placement or travel assignment
