Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg travel position requiring NIHSS certification and a compact or MS RN license.
Details
- Hospital-based Med/Surg unit (Floor 4)
- Day shift schedule with rotating weekends
- 13-week contract assignment
Requirements
- Active RN license (Mississippi or Compact) currently in hand
- Current certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
- Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg RN experience required
- Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment
- No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
Additional Information
- Provide direct nursing care to medical-surgical patients on the unit
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this travel position
- RTO requests must be less than one week
- Candidates who worked as permanent staff at any Community Health Systems facility within the past 2 years will not be considered
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
