Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a NICU night shift position requiring 3+ years of Level III NICU experience and a compact or IN RN license.

Details

• Work in a 25-bed Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
• Care for patients of all gestational ages and acuity levels
• Patient ratios of 1:2 to 1:3
• Uses Bubble CPAP, ventilators, high flow nasal cannula, feeding pumps, breast pumps, and Alaris IV pumps
• Epic EMR system used
• Night shift schedule with 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
• Weekend shifts as assigned
• No on-call requirements
• Float to postpartum unit when needed
• 13-week assignment

Requirements

• Active RN license (IN or compact) currently in hand
• Current BLS and NRP certifications required, STABLE certification preferred
• Minimum 3 years of Level III NICU experience required
• IV insertion, delivery room stabilization, CPAP, and ventilator experience preferred
• Must be a team player, adaptable to changing patient assignments, and willing to assist during busy shifts

Additional Information

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to neonatal ICU patients across varying gestational ages and acuity levels
• Assist with delivery room stabilization and specialized NICU procedures as needed
• Must wear hospital-issued scrubs
• Local candidates within a 50-mile radius are accepted at a reduced bill rate
