Description
American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Pediatric ICU position requiring MN RN licensure and two years of PICU or pediatric CVICU experience.
Details
- Work in a Pediatric ICU (PICU) or Pediatric CVICU setting within a hospital environment
- Care for pre-operative and immediate post-operative PICU surgical patients and trauma patients, or pre-operative and post-operative cardiac surgical and cardiac procedural patients
- Float required between two hospital locations as needed
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Active MN RN license or MN Temporary Permit-RN currently in hand
- Current certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- Minimum two years of PICU nursing experience with pre-operative, immediate post-operative surgical, and trauma patient care, or two years of pediatric CVICU nursing experience with pre- and post-operative cardiac surgical and cardiac procedural patient care
Additional Information
- Provide direct nursing care to critically ill pediatric patients in a PICU or CVICU setting
- Willingness to float between two hospital locations is required
