Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a LDRP night shift position requiring an active Oregon RN license and ACLS/NRP certifications.

Details

  • Work in the Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) unit of a hospital
  • Provides labor, delivery, recovery, postpartum, and newborn care in a family-centered environment
  • Unit is trained in GYN surgical care and practices pediatrics
  • Night shift schedule (1900-0730)
  • Required to work every 3rd weekend
  • 13-week assignment length

Requirements

  • Active, unencumbered Oregon RN license required
  • Current certifications: BLS (Healthcare Provider Level), ACLS, and NRP
  • PALS certification also required
  • STABLE certification preferred
  • Minimum 1 year of experience required

Additional Information

  • Deliver comprehensive labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum care alongside a highly trained team of nurses and medical staff
  • Provide newborn care within a medically safe, family-centered environment

Cons

Schedule was atrocious especially night shift. Significant amount of floating to the ER as helping hands or a sitter.
