Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for an Emergency Department night shift position requiring an active Iowa or compact RN license and TNCC certification.

Details

• Emergency Room setting within a hospital environment
• Full-time night shift schedule of 3 (12-hour) shifts per week from 6:00pm-6:30am
• Every other weekend required
• Rotating holiday coverage required
• 13-week assignment length

Requirements

• Active Iowa or compact RN license required
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC
• Prior ER experience preferred but not required
• Resume and two recent employment references required for consideration
• Flu vaccination required during flu season (Oct 1 - March 31)

Additional Information

• Plan and provide total patient care using the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient needs
• Direct and guide patient teaching and oversee activities of ancillary personnel
• Maintain professional nursing standards throughout patient care delivery
• Complete facility-required CareLearning education modules, including Mandatory Reporter certification if not already held, prior to start
