Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Pediatric Cardiovascular ICU position requiring at least 2 years of CVICU experience and an IN or compact RN license.
Details
- Work in a new and specialized 8-bed CVICU connected to a 14-bed PICU
- Care for pediatric cardiac patients both pre and post operatively
- Collaborate closely with surgical and intensivist teams
- Night shift schedule from 19:00-07:30
- 36 hours per week with every other weekend and holiday coverage required
- Flexible scheduling required to accommodate surgical cases
- On-call availability required
- Float to PICU, general Pediatrics, and NICU as needed
Requirements
- Active IN or compact RN license
- AHA BLS, PALS, ACLS certifications required
- AHA/American Academy of Pediatrics NRP and NRP Advanced certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of CVICU experience required
- Current license and primary source verification (Nursys) within 30 days prior to start required for consideration
Additional Information
- Provide critical care nursing to pediatric cardiac surgical patients in a specialized CVICU setting
- Work collaboratively with a dedicated surgical and intensivist team
- Radius rule applies which may reduce pay rate for local candidates residing within the designated distance
- COVID vaccination is not required
