Description
American Traveler is seeking an Acute Care Physical Therapist with 2+ years of experience to cover medicine, surgical, and emergency services in an inpatient hospital setting.
Details
- Inpatient acute care setting covering medicine, surgical, and emergency services
- Unit: PT, Inpatient - Medical
- Shift schedule: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
- Uses Epic for charting
- Uses UKG/Kronos for timekeeping
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of recent physical therapy experience required
- BLS certification required (AHA preferred; specific facilities may require AHA only)
- License required if applicable
- Active MA license required at time of consideration; conditional or pending licenses not accepted
- Primary source verification of professional license/certification required within 30 days of start and upon expiration
- Flu vaccine required; no religious or medical exemptions allowed
- Epic charting experience preferred
Additional Information
- Main responsibilities include evaluating and treating patients across medicine, surgical, and emergency departments
- RTO must be disclosed at the time of consideration
- Local candidates accepted if permanent residence is within 60 miles of Boston, MA, at a reduced rate
- No validated parking available at Boston locations; public transportation or paid parking lots range $17-$22 daily
