Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN OR Circulator with 5+ years of OR experience for a travel assignment requiring an AZ or compact RN license.

Details

• Work in a hospital surgery department with six major operating rooms and two endoscopy suites
• Serve as OR Circulator for adult and some pediatric patients
• 1:1 patient ratios
• Common procedures include Ortho, General Surgery, Podiatry, GYN, Urology, and ENT
• Uses standard OR equipment
• Charts in CQI/MedHost EHR
• Mixed shift schedule, mostly days, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Work every other weekend
• On-call requirement of 1:3, dependent on staffing needs

Requirements

• Active RN license (AZ or Compact) required
• BLS certification required (AHA certifications required)
• CNOR certification preferred
• 5+ years of OR experience required
• RN education required
• OR/Circulating skills and experience required

Additional Information

• Provide circulating nursing support during surgical procedures across multiple specialties
• Focus on strong patient experience and teamwork within the surgical team
• Hospital-provided scrubs
• Must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for the travel rate
• Candidates cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
• Cannot be employed elsewhere full time while on assignment
