Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility (IRF) position requiring an active RN license on hand and prior Med-Surg or IRF experience.
Details
- Inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital setting with 42 beds
- Rehab Nursing unit serving adult patients, including some geriatric and rehab-specific cases
- Patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury
- RN to patient ratio of 5:1 (RN/LPN) and CNA ratio of 7:1
- Utilizes Epic EMR and Pyxis medication dispensing system
- Day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
- Every other weekend rotation required (Monday-Friday schedule)
- No on-call requirements
- No floating requirements
Requirements
- Active RN license (Standard or Compact) required on hand
- OR RN license required
- Current BLS certification required
- AHA-issued certifications required
- Minimum 1+ years of RN experience required
- New graduates will not be considered
- Long-term care (LTC) experience does not meet position requirements
- IRF or Med-Surg experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
Additional Information
- Provide direct nursing care to adult and geriatric patients undergoing acute rehabilitation
- Scrubs of any color are acceptable
- Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
- Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
- Candidates must not be employed elsewhere full-time
- First-time travelers are not specified as accepted for this role
