Description
American Traveler is hiring a Rehab RN for a night shift inpatient acute rehab hospital position requiring an active OR RN license and at least 1 year of IRF/Med-Surg experience.
Details
- Work in a 42-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital
- Rehab Nursing unit caring for adult and some geriatric patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury
- Patient ratios of 5:1 RN/LPN and 7:1 CNA
- Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
- Every other weekend rotation required
- No on-call responsibilities
- No floating required
- Uses Epic EMR and Pyxis medication dispensing system
- Epic EMR experience required
Requirements
- Active OR RN license required on hand
- Current BLS certification (AHA) required
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
- New grads not considered
- IRF and Med-Surg experience required
- LTC experience not accepted
- Epic EMR experience required
- Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
Additional Information
- Provide direct nursing care within an inpatient rehabilitation setting following individualized treatment plans
- Scrubs of any color are acceptable
- Candidates must live more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible
- Candidates who worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the past 12 months are not eligible
- Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full time
- First-time travelers are not specified as accepted or excluded
