Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for an ED/Med-Surg position requiring an active IA or compact RN license and prior nursing experience for a night shift assignment with every other weekend and holiday coverage.

Med Surg unit caring for both med/surg and emergency department patients
13-week assignment
Night shift schedule from 18:00-06:30
Every other weekend (EOW) required
Holiday coverage required for open needs

Requirements

Active IA or compact RN license required
Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required
BLS certification required (American Heart Association)
ACLS certification required for ED assignment
PALS or ENPC certification required for ED assignment
TNCC certification may be required
NIHSS certification may be required
License verification dated within 30 days of start required

Additional Information

Provide direct patient care to both medical/surgical and emergency department patients
Local candidates accepted in select states including IA
Radius rule of 60 miles applies for most Trinity Health locations, with exceptions of 90 miles for certain IA and IL locations
