Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position in the Special Progressive Care Unit, requiring telemetry experience and a passing Basic Arrhythmia score.
Details
- Work in the Special Progressive Care Unit (SPCU) of a hospital environment
- Unit serves as an isolation/COVID unit and overflow unit
- 12-hour night shift schedule
- No on-call responsibilities
- Epic EMR experience preferred
Requirements
- Active RN license (NC or Compact) currently in hand
- Current certifications: Basic Life Support (BCLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
- Prior telemetry nursing experience required
- Basic Arrhythmia exam score of 85% or greater required
Additional Information
- Provide telemetry nursing care within a progressive care and overflow/isolation unit setting
- Must reside 50 miles or more from the facility to qualify for the travel assignment
