Description
American Traveler is hiring an Outpatient Occupational Therapist with 1+ year experience and prior travel experience for a hospital-based outpatient rehabilitation clinic.
Details
- Hospital-based outpatient rehabilitation clinic setting
- Treat patients with lymphedema, cognitive evaluation/treatment needs, and other musculoskeletal and neurological diagnoses
- Day shift schedule, 4x8 hour shifts from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM
- Daily patient load of 10-11 patients
- Treat adult patients, adolescent experience preferred
- No call or weekend requirements
- No routine floating required, unless covering other sites during low patient census
- Epic EMR experience required
Requirements
- Current Michigan OT license required (license required if applicable)
- BLS certification (AHA) required
- Minimum 1 year of OT experience required
- Prior travel experience required
- Experience in lymphedema treatment, manual therapy, and hand therapy required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Proof of flu vaccination required for consideration, or exemption request submitted within 48 hours of signing
- Supervisor-level references required
Additional Information
- First-time travelers will not be considered for this role
- Local candidates accepted at the same rate with no radius restrictions
- Previous Bronson internal travelers may return after 6 months; previous permanent staff may return after 1 year
- Travelers are prioritized for floating assignments when needed
- RTO limited to no more than 10 days during the assignment
- Non-billable orientation and annual training modules required, self-reported
