Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring TX or compact RN licensure, TNCC certification, and 2+ years of ED experience with trauma, stroke, and chest pain patients.

• Work in a hospital Emergency Department setting
• 10-room, 19-bed/chair unit
• Patient ratio of 4:1
• Day shift schedule from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM
• 13-week contract assignment
• No on-call requirements
• No floating requirements
• No 48-hour shifts
• Uses MEDHOST EMR system

Requirements

• Active RN license (TX or Compact) currently in hand
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC (AHA or ARC)
• Minimum 2 years of recent ED experience required
• Experience with trauma, stroke, and chest pain patients required
• Travel experience preferred
• Titers must be in hand at time of consideration
• Royal blue scrubs required

Additional Information

• Must reside greater than 50 miles from the facility
• RTO requests must be submitted at time of consideration and must be less than 1 week
• Candidates with certifications expiring within the first 30 days of start will not be considered
• No gaps in work history equaling 90 days or more in the past 12 months
• Not eligible if previously employed as permanent staff at any Community Health Systems facility within the past 2 years
