Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg position requiring a minimum of 5 years of experience and rotating weekend availability.
Details
- Work on a Medical-Surgical unit within a hospital setting
- 18-bed unit caring for adult and geriatric patients
- Patient ratio of 1:6
- Uses Meditech EHR
- Day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
- Rotating weekend requirement
- No on-call requirements
- Floating required
Requirements
- Active RN license (AL or Compact) currently in hand
- Current BLS certification required
- Minimum of 5 years of Med-Surg experience required
- Must be a team player willing to take ownership of the position
Additional Information
- Provide medical-surgical nursing care to an adult and geriatric patient population
- Royal blue scrubs required
- Weekly Monday orientations scheduled
- Must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for the travel pay rate
- Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
- Cannot be employed elsewhere full time
