Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg position requiring 5 years of experience and an AL or compact RN license.
Details
- Work on the Medical Surgical Combination unit (3400 Med-Surg floor) of a hospital setting
- Adult and geriatric patient population
- 18-bed unit with 1:6 patient ratios
- Day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
- Rotating weekend hours required
- No on-call responsibilities
- Floating required
- Uses Meditech EHR system
Requirements
- Active RN license (AL State or Compact) currently in hand
- Current BLS certification (AHA) required
- Minimum 5 years of Med-Surg nursing experience required
Additional Information
- Provide direct nursing care to adult and geriatric Med-Surg patients
- Team player willing to take ownership of the position
- Royal blue scrub color required
- Must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rate
- Local candidates may be considered at a reduced local rate
- Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
- Cannot be employed elsewhere full time
- Weekly Monday orientations scheduled
