Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced Oncology RN for a Nurse Coordinator/Navigator position in a clinic setting, requiring a MA RN license and prior oncology experience.
Details
- Ambulatory clinic setting within a Hematology/Oncology unit
- Solid tumor unit with 27 treatment bays/clinic exam rooms
- Nurse Coordinator/Navigator role
- 8-hour day shifts, 40 hours per week
- Schedule runs 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
- No call, weekend, or holiday requirements
- No floating required
- Uses Epic EMR
Requirements
- Active MA RN license required in hand
- BLS certification (AHA) required
- Chemo biotherapy certification highly preferred
- Prior oncology experience required
- Proficiency with Epic EMR required
- Knowledge of infusion/case management preferred
- Must complete Tele/ECG and Medication competency testing
- COVID vaccine plus booster and flu vaccine required (medical exemptions allowed)
Additional Information
- Coordinate and navigate patient care within the oncology clinic setting
- Work alongside a clinical team supporting solid tumor treatment
- Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible for this position
- Local candidates are not accepted for this role
- Previous employees (travel, perm, or per diem) at any Beth Israel Lahey Health facility must have a 6-month break before returning and be in good standing
- First-time travelers may be considered for this position
