Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced Oncology RN for a hybrid Outpatient Clinic position requiring ONS certification and prior travel experience.
Details
- Hybrid Oncology role supporting bone marrow procedures in CT 1-2 days per week and providing direct patient care at an Infusion Center on remaining days
- Responsible for processing specimens, preparing slides, completing required paperwork, and delivering specimens to the Pathology Lab
- Sedation management is handled by the IR RN, not this position
- Uses Epic EMR
- Day shift schedule from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, 8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week
- Required to float between multiple facility locations based on facility needs
Requirements
- Active CA RN license required at time of consideration
- Current BLS certification required
- ONS (Oncology Nursing Society) certification required
- Chemotherapy administration experience required
- Previous travel nursing experience required
- Licenses and certifications must be active, not pending, at time of consideration
