Description
American Traveler is hiring a Radiology/Cardiology X-Ray Technologist for a 13-week evening shift assignment requiring 1 year of large hospital and OR experience.
Details
- 13-week travel assignment
- Evening shift, 5x8 hours, 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM
- Patient ratio of 1:1
- No weekend requirement
- No on-call requirement
- No floating between units required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Trauma Level I and Level II hospital setting
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of experience required, with large hospital experience preferred
- OR experience required
- Current ARRT(R) and BLS certification
- Valid WA state radiology license or license required if applicable
- Epic EMR experience required
- Trauma Level I and Level II experience required
- Teaching hospital, community hospital, and LTAC experience preferred
Additional Information
- First-time travelers will be considered for this position
- Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to qualify for travel rates, though local candidates are accepted at a lower rate
- All travelers should be prepared to float within the facility
- Former Providence permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler
- RTO must be requested and approved at the time of submission, as post-submission RTO requests may not be granted
- Two supervisory references required covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years
- Skills may include abdomen/GI imaging, upper and lower extremity imaging, trauma imaging, fluoroscopy studies, mobile/surgical procedures, spine and pelvis imaging, chest and thorax imaging, and head imaging
- Experience with GE, Philips, Siemens, and PACS equipment
- Responsibilities include preparation and administration of contrast media, radiation safety practices, and adherence to infection prevention and isolation precaution protocols
