Description
American Traveler is hiring a Mammography Technologist with at least 1 year of experience and ARRT(R) certification for a 13-week outpatient assignment
Details
- Outpatient mammography setting
- Day shift schedule, 4x10 hour shifts from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM
- 13-week assignment length
- Epic EMR experience required
- Uses PACS system and Hologic equipment
- May float between sister facilities near the contracted location
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of experience required
- ARRT(R) and BLS certification required
- Community hospital experience preferred
- Experience with 3-D mammography, diagnostic mammograms, digital mammography, screening mammograms required
- Experience with fine needle aspiration, needle localizations, and stereotactic biopsy preferred
- Compact state license must be in hand at time of submission, if applicable
- Must not have worked as a Providence facility permanent employee within the last 3 months
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility for consideration at travel rate
- Two supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years required
Additional Information
- Must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
- All RTO and scheduling requests must be submitted upfront during the application process
- First-time travelers will be considered
- Former permanent staff may return as a traveler after a 3-month waiting period, provided they are not within 50 miles of the facility
- Candidates must disclose any prior work history at Providence facilities as a permanent employee, traveler, or per-diem staff
