Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Cardiac Cath Lab RN with 2+ years of cath lab experience for a community hospital setting in Smyrna, TN.

Details

• Cardiac Cath Lab unit within a 115-bed hospital
• 1:1 patient ratios in the cath lab
• 3-person cath and call teams including 3 FT Techs and 2 FT RNs, with 5-6 staff per day
• Uses GE X-ray equipment and Alaris pumps
• Documentation via Merge Hemo and Meditech
• Schedule is 4x10hr shifts, M-F variable days from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Call requirements include up to 8 weekday call days and up to 6 weekend call days per month
• RNs may float to cover Cardiology patients in Non-Invasive, CT, MRI, and Nuclear Medicine but not elsewhere in the hospital

Requirements

• Active TN or compact RN license required
• RN licensure with ARRT or RCIS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience required, including both diagnostic and PCI procedures
• Experience with cardiac monitoring, circulating, and RN sedation required
• Community hospital or mixed IR & Cath Lab setting experience preferred
• Advanced skills in IR, Specials, and vascular procedures needed
• Experience with procedures such as left and right heart caths, PCI (Type A, B1, some B2), Rotablator, CSI, Shockwave, Impella, Getinge IABP, Boston Polaris (FFR/IVUS), and Abbott Illumien FFR
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
• No gaps in work history of 90+ days within the past 12 months

• Dress code: red top and bottom scrubs, or black top with red bottoms; ceil blue also acceptable
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; no local candidates accepted
