Description

American Traveler is hiring a Sonographer with 2+ years of experience for an acute care Ultrasound unit requiring ARDMS and RVT certification.

Details

• Acute care setting within the Ultrasound department
• 12-hour day shifts, including Friday (6:30a-7p or 8a-8:30p) and weekends (6:30a-7p)
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Rotation of call and holidays required
• Uses EPIC EMR

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Sonographer required
• ARDMS certification required
• Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) certification via ARDMS required
• BLS certification required
• License required if applicable
• Unexpired driver's license copy required for consideration
• Must disclose any background check findings at time of consideration

Additional Information

• Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible
• Local candidates are not accepted for this position
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Returning travelers who previously worked at any WVU Medicine location must have taken a 2-year break before reapplying
• Travelers may not work within the WVU system for longer than a year without taking a 2-year break
• First-time travelers may be considered
