Description

American Traveler is seeking a Pediatric Registered Respiratory Therapist with a minimum of 2 years of pediatric experience for a 13-week assignment at a Level 1 trauma, neonatal/pediatric-only hospital.

Details

• Work in the Respiratory Care Pediatrics unit of a neonatal/pediatric-only hospital
• Facility includes a Level 3 NICU, a PICU, and is a Level 1 trauma center
• Frequently manage ventilated patients on Acute Care and Med-Surg floors
• 36 hours per week on a 07:00-19:30 shift schedule
• Every other weekend requirement
• Holiday coverage required per department need

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of pediatric respiratory therapy experience required
• Current RRT credential required
• BLS certification required (must be AHA)
• PALS certification required (must be AHA)
• NRP certification preferred
• License required if applicable
• Current license and primary source verification required within 30 days prior to assignment start

Additional Information

• Provide respiratory care to critically ill neonatal and pediatric patients across NICU, PICU, Acute Care, and Med-Surg units
• Work within a specialized pediatric and neonatal care team environment
• Accepts local candidates, though a radius rule may apply to travel pay eligibility
