Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Progressive Cardiac Care stepdown unit requiring 2 years of experience and an active IN or compact RN license.

Details

  • Work in a 28-bed Stepdown Intermediate Care unit within a hospital setting
  • Care for medical, cardiac, pre/post CV surgery, arrhythmia, heart failure, and stroke overflow patients
  • Patient ratio of 1:4-5
  • Night shift schedule from 18:45 to 07:15
  • 13-week assignment length

Requirements

  • Active RN license (IN or Compact) currently in hand
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant nursing experience required
  • Current BLS certification (AHA) required
  • Current ACLS certification (AHA) required
  • Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start
  • Primary source license verification required within 30 days prior to start

Additional Information

  • Provide progressive cardiac care nursing to a diverse patient population including cardiac, surgical, and stroke overflow cases
  • Radius rule applies, allowing local candidates at a reduced rate depending on distance from the facility
  • Candidates should begin discussing extension opportunities with their manager approximately 45 days before assignment end date
