Description

American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for an Emergency Department position requiring ACLS, PALS, and BLS certifications with a NY RN license.

Details

• Critical-access hospital Emergency Room setting
• 10-bed unit
• RN to patient ratio of 5:1
• Common patient diagnoses include CHF, COPD, syncope, non-STEMI, DKA, wound issues, THR, TKR, lumbar surgery, general surgery, and COVID
• EMR system used is Soarian
• 12-hour night shifts from 7p-7a
• 3 shifts per week
• No on-call requirements

Requirements

• Active NY RN license required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• TNCC and ENPC certifications preferred
• Two references from a Charge RN, Supervisor, or Manager required, from within the past year and within the ED specialty

Additional Information

• Provide emergency care to patients presenting with a range of acute and chronic conditions
• Must reside outside a 75-mile radius of the facility to qualify for travel rate; candidates within this radius may be considered at the local rate
