Description
American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist with 2+ years of critical care and Angio/IR experience for a Level I trauma and certified stroke center.

- 1:1 patient ratio
- 4x10-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM with on-call requirements
- Team staffing includes Lead Tech, RN, ARRT/RTR, and RCIS in 3-4 person teams
- Uses IVUS, Shockwave, Angio Jet, and Jet Stream equipment
- Documentation completed in EPIC Cupid
- No floating required
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years experience in Critical Care and Angio/IR, including stroke and trauma care
- Current ACLS and BLS certification
- License required if applicable
- ICU/ER experience required
- Experience with critical care drip management
- Proficiency with procedures including Permcath, Port Placement, Thrombectomy, Atherectomy, TAVR, TIPS, EVAR, PE, Stroke, and Trauma care
Additional Information
- Perform a wide range of interventional radiology procedures including Permcath placement, Port Placement, Thrombectomy, Atherectomy, TAVR, TIPS, EVAR, PE, Stroke, and Trauma cases
- Work within a Level I Trauma Center and Certified Stroke Center
- Care for a high acuity patient population
- Navy blue and black scrubs required for Techs
- Located within a dedicated Heart and Vascular Tower featuring 3 Angiography Labs (2 dedicated IR Labs and 1 Hybrid OR)
