Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Operating Room position requiring OR scrubbing skills and call coverage.

Details

Endoscopy/OR unit within a hospital setting
Case types include ortho, ENT, plastics, general, robotics, and urology
Fast-paced OR environment with 6 beds
Patient ratio of 1:1
Day shift schedule 6:30 AM-5:00 PM Tuesday-Friday with Mondays off
No block scheduling and no floating required
Call required: one weeknight 7 PM-6:30 AM and every other weekend Saturday/Sunday night 3:00 PM-7:00 AM
Uses Cerner EMR

Requirements

Active RN license (TN or Compact) required
Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum 1+ years of recent OR experience required
Must be able to scrub in for procedures
Robotics experience preferred
Certifications must not expire within first 30 days of assignment
No employment gaps of 90+ days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

Scrubs are provided
Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates not accepted
RTO requests must be less than 1 week and submitted with application
Candidates who worked as permanent staff at this health system within the past 2 years will not be considered
First-time travelers are welcome to apply
