Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Operating Room position requiring TN or compact licensure and prior OR circulating/scrub experience.

Details

• Hospital-based Operating Room setting
• Case coverage includes Ortho, ENT, Plastics (minor), General, Robotics, and Urology (no cardiac/HEARTS cases)
• Fast-paced OR environment with a 1:1 patient ratio
• 6-bed unit
• Day shift schedule, Tuesday through Friday, 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with Mondays off
• On-call required, including one night call shift (7:00 PM-6:30 AM) and every other weekend call (Saturday and Sunday nights, 3:00 PM-7:00 AM)
• No floating required
• No block scheduling available
• Uses Cerner EMR

Requirements

• Active RN license (TN or Compact) required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of recent OR experience required
• Must be able to scrub in for procedures
• Robotics experience preferred
• Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment start
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Scrubs are provided
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this travel position
• RTO requests must be less than one week and submitted with application
• Candidates who worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years will not be considered
• First-time travelers may be considered for this role
