Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for an Inpatient Rehab unit requiring strong med/surg skills and an active MA RN license.

Details

• 30-bed, all-private-room adult acute inpatient rehab unit in a modern, top-ranked facility
• Patient population includes polytrauma, burns, complex medical courses following acute care, prolonged ICU stays, wounds, cardiac surgery, and major organ transplant recovery
• Requires low-risk telemetry monitoring and IV maintenance skills
• Requires competency with central lines, PICCs, ports, TPN, and IV medication administration
• Three 12-hour day shifts per week (07:00-19:30), including every other weekend
• Uses Epic for charting

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required; conditional or pending licenses not accepted
• Current BLS certification (AHA preferred)
• Strong med/surg nursing skills required
• Primary source verification of license/certifications required within 30 days of start and upon expiration (NURSYS and BON)
• Flu vaccine required with no religious or medical exemptions

• Work alongside a collaborative team of nurses and PCAs in a facility rated #2 in the nation and #1 in the Northeast for rehab care
• Local candidates residing within 60 miles of Boston are considered at a reduced rate
