Description
American Traveler is hiring a Night Shift RN for a Surgical ICU position requiring a minimum of 2 years of ICU experience and an active MA RN license.
Details
- Work in a twenty-bed adult general surgical ICU caring for a highly acute and complex patient population
- Night shift schedule from 19:00-07:30
- 13-week assignment
- Collaborative, multi-disciplinary approach to patient care in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Care for critically ill patients requiring mechanical ventilation, titration of vasoactive and sedative medications, central line and arterial line management, and complex wound and drain management
- Uses EPIC for documentation and charting
Requirements
- Active RN license in the state of Massachusetts required (no conditional or pending licenses accepted)
- Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
- Current BLS certification required (AHA only)
- Skilled in mechanical ventilation, vasoactive and sedative medication titration, central and arterial line care, and complex wound and drain management
- EPIC charting experience required
- Flu vaccine required with no religious or medical exemptions allowed

- Opportunity for specialty-based certifications such as TNCC and CCRN
- Work within a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team dedicated to education and patient-focused care
- Local candidates residing within 60 miles of the facility are accepted at a reduced rate compared to standard travel rate
- RTO must be disclosed at the time of consideration
