Description

American Traveler is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for an outpatient imaging center, requiring ARRT(N) or NMTCB certification and 1+ years of experience.

Details

  • Outpatient imaging center setting
  • Adult patient population in a clinic environment
  • Performs PET scans and other nuclear medicine procedures
  • Day shift, Monday-Friday, 5x8 hours from 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM
  • Occasional rotating Saturday shifts from 6:30 AM to 2:00 PM with a weekday off during those weeks
  • Uses GE and Siemens equipment (preferred experience)
  • Charting completed in Epic

Requirements

  • ARRT(N) or NMTCB registration required
  • BLS certification required
  • Minimum 1 year of experience required
  • VA license required in hand at time of consideration - license required if applicable
  • CNMT and PET certifications preferred
  • Epic experience preferred
  • Skilled in drawing venous blood, starting and maintaining IVs
  • Experience with isolation precautions/PPE
  • Experience storing, handling, and disposing of radioactive materials

  • No floating to sister facilities required
