Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Long Term Care position at a critical access hospital, requiring PointClickCare and Cerner charting experience along with scheduling flexibility for both day and night shifts.

Details

• unit within a 25-bed critical access hospital in a very rural setting
• Rotating 12-hour day (6:30a-6:30p) or night (6:30p-6:30a) shifts on a Saturday-through-Friday work week
• Requires flexibility to work either day or night shifts as scheduled
• Weekend shifts required
• Mandatory floating within the hospital or to an affiliate hospital in accordance with client policies and Joint Commission standards, including floating to closed departments
• Uses PointClickCare and Cerner charting systems

Requirements

• Active NM or compact RN license required in hand
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
• PointClickCare charting experience required
• Cerner charting experience required
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Copy of driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide long term/intermediate care nursing services in a rural critical access hospital setting
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Previous travelers who have worked at this facility are welcome to reapply
• Permanent staff seeking to transition to travel assignments require facility approval
• RTO requests must be submitted with the initial application and kept to a minimum, with no requests for a full calendar week off during the assignment
• Candidates should expect to work some holidays
• Candidates residing within a 100-mile radius of the facility are considered local and are not eligible for this position
