Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Long-Term Acute Care unit requiring 2+ years of current LTAC experience with trach, vent, and drip management skills.

Details

• LTAC (Long-Term Acute Care) unit setting
• Patient ratios of 1:5-6
• Day shift schedule with 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM)
• Weekend block days available for day shift
• Works every other weekend (EOW)
• Floating required in rotation with staff according to facility policy and clinical experience
• Weekend and holiday rotation expected in line with staff schedule

Requirements

• Active RN license, MO or Compact license in hand
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of current, strong LTAC experience required
• Experience with tracheostomy care, ventilator management, and drip titration required
• Two professional references required for consideration

Additional Information

• Accepts local candidates at the same rate as traveler candidates
• Requests for time off must be approved prior to start, and preferably not during the initial weeks of the assignment
• Floating orientation provided in compliance with Joint Commission standards
