Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Med/Surg Tele position requiring 18 months of recent MS/Tele experience and an active OH or compact RN license.

Details

• Work in the Med/Surg Tele unit of a hospital environment
• Potential to float to units J1-2, J33, and the ED to care for the same patient population
• Day/Night rotating shift schedule (3x12 hours), 7pm-7:30am or 7am-7:30pm
• Shifts may be adjusted to meet operational needs of the hospital
• Required to work at least every other holiday

Requirements

• Active RN license (Ohio or Compact) currently in hand
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• Minimum 18 months combined permanent experience in specialty applying for required
• Minimum 18 months of recent MS/Tele experience required (travel experience accepted)
• Must complete ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation with acceptable scores

Additional Information

• Provide nursing care to Med/Surg Tele patients, including potential coverage of ED patients with the same population
• 20-week assignment providing winter coverage, with 13-week assignments also considered
• Assignments may extend up to 18 months, with a required 6-month break before returning to another Cleveland Clinic location
• Locals accepted at the same bill rate
• Nurses are exempt from the facility's nicotine-free requirement
• Permanent and per diem candidates cannot return to Cleveland Clinic hospitals for 1 year from their previous end date
